Echo - Lambeth

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was excited about the menu. Unfortunately, the carbonara I ordered was the worst I've ever had. Despite being described as creamy, the sauce was clumped up and flavorless. I mentioned my disappointment to the server, who suggested trying a different pasta next time. Despite the hot food, clean restaurant, and decent service, I won't be coming back.

It had been almost two and a half years since my last visit to Eco, an Italian family-run restaurant on Clapham High Street. Today, I took two of my colleagues there for lunch. I ordered my favorite Caesar Salad with chicken, and I must say it was just as delicious as I remembered. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

I have been going to this restaurant for at least twenty years and it has always been a dependable choice for a last-minute Saturday lunch on Clapham High Street. This time, instead of our usual pizza order, we decided to try something different. On a hot summer afternoon, we indulged in courgette fritters and burrata with tomatoes for starters, followed by a flavorful beetroot smoked aubergine and goat's cheese salad, and finally an indulgent seafood risotto.

I just been there now and the food is all right but the service was disgusting. My friend went to the toilet and I was sitting at the table when the manager came, and he asked me to move to another table because he had a group of 7 people waiting, so, I told him don't worry my friend will be back in a few minutes we will pay the bill and go. He brought me the bill straight away and when I told him to wait for my friend he was upset and started to get angry and he suggested me to wait for my friend at the door and I said no. So, he started to move the table from where I was sitting made me feel uncomfortable. So, I went inside really upset and when I complained to him he did not take me serious. Very unprofessional, I never will come back.

Went twice in once week with my flatmates and then my sisters when they came to visit. Food was great and staff were so attentive! Could not do enough to keep us happy! Our server (I think his name was Renata) was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant! Very reasonable prices!
