Rustica - Lamas

Rustica in Tarapoto City, not Rustica Hotel, is permanently close to November 2019. The retaurant changed the name for 2 weeks, but now seems free.

We were in Rustica restaurants in many locations in Peru, this in Tarapoto is by far the worst. Poor quality, tasteless and almost cold food served. Only a good point is the beautiful environment, in line with the other franchise locations.

We were there for dinner. Nice place, beautifully decorated terrace with plants and rustic tables and chairs. Food's good, Cocona's mad. It is a mixture of "fast food and typical local food". There are also pizzas. The salad is very good, that is the vegetarian meal, along with Tequeño's type of roasted cheese sticks with guacamole. The only "negative" point is that Rustica is surrounded by the main roads, the air is not really fresh on the terrace and the sounds of Motokars and cars can be loud and annoying. Prices ok, medium range.

There are pizzas too. The salad is very good, this is the only vegetarian meal, together with Tequeños - kind of fried cheese sticks with Guacamole. The only 'negative' point is that Rustica is surrounded by main streets - the air is not really fresh up on the terrace and the noises of the Motokars and cars can be loud and annoying. Prices ok, medium range.
