La Collpa - Lamas

An authentic restaurant with all the local cuisine. The view is beautiful and the service is excellent. We were served by a waiter named Harley who was very friendly and attentive. The portions are very large and delicious.

Colpa sits at the top of Tarapoto overlooking jungle and the blue mountain range national Park. It offers a big variety of regional dishes, none of them spectacular, but of reasonable quality. The food is largely similar to La Patarashka's in the center

We've had a ceviche and a salad which are simple dishes for a Peruvian restaurant. They were good but they didn't have lots of things we wanted like shrimps, avocado, local beer (only cusquena). Rustic place but in general it was a good experience.

For dinner to La Collpa, what a beautiful view! Order the Lomo Saltado, and it was delicious.

We were impressed with the view and more impressed with the flavor of the food. The natural landscape made it a perfect romantic place. The service is very fast, in despite that it is usually busy. We ordered a ceviche, Chonta, Caldo de gallina. A...jar of maracuyá acompannied our meal.
