Mcdonald's - Lamar

Fries were cold and half full. Counter person didn't know what carbonated water was and gave me regular water. Were not friendly.

Lamar, Colorado: Our grandchild absolutely loved the play area inside the restaurant! It was a great spot for kids to have fun while we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend for families!

This McDonald's is just okay. The staff are generally unapproachable, and interactions tend to be unpleasant. In the 40-50 visits we've made over the past year, I can only recall a couple of pleasant exchanges with employees or moments where they handled situations well. It rarely feels like they enjoy their work, which reflects in the way customers are treated. Additionally, they often try to charge for dipping sauces, even when you forget to include it in your mobile order or when it's clearly part of a menu item.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The location is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly. During a road trip from Denver, I stopped for a late dinner and then enjoyed breakfast when I was leaving Lamar. Highly recommend!

Decent quality McDonald’s food, but the inside of the restaurant had like 100+ flies flying around. They also closed the playground in the middle of the day for some kind of employee appreciation day. Awesome idea, but every other restaurant does this early morning or late at night. Taking 1,000 square feet of your restaurant and closing it off in the middle of the day is a bad idea.
