This is a fantastic spot to enjoy some excellent craft beers while you’re in the area. The service is generally good, although, like many places, they sometimes struggle to maintain quality.

I really love this restaurant, but my recent visit was disappointing. I went there on Saturday around noon with a group of six, and we had to wait for about five minutes before anyone greeted us or showed us to our table. Surprisingly, the restaurant was only half full at the time...

We had heard wonderful things about the Winking Lizard Clambake, and it truly lived up to all the praise. Every bite was delightful—the clam chowder was tasty and served steaming hot. The lobster tails were sweet, tender, and cooked to perfection. The Latin Street Corn was absolutely amazing, bursting with a refreshing lime flavor, and the baked potato was also fantastic, served hot. Pair it all with a couple of your favorite draft beers or Lizard cocktails, and you’ve got an unforgettable meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. I can't recommend this dining experience highly enough!

The food was absolutely amazing! Our waiter frequently checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed my baked beans, the bayou burger, and my spinach salad. My husband ordered wings, ribs, soup, and mac and cheese. The Lakewood area consistently offers great dining options.
