Dining is back to par! The manager mentioned that there's a new chef. The clam chowder and clam cakes were excellent. The fish and chips, prepared in English batter, are a generous portion.
The tea boxes feel like bunkers, most of the fairways are just dirt, and the greens are even slower than the game pace with a five-player group ahead of me. The greens are 50% thick grass and 50% sandy patches scattered throughout. Some of the cups have elevated edges above the green. Paying $62 for nine holes and a cart for two is a complete waste of time and money.
Too bad, this place is terrible now. The drought has done so much damage to this course that it is a dust dish The tea boxes are dirt with very economical grass and the greens are burned and smell of hard chemicals. Not only is it worth the money they pay, they also plan to increase fees for this terrible course.
Decent selection of some craft beers. Typical selection of pub style eats. What more could you want from a clubhouse?
