Best Italian - Lakehurst

There were many great things to hear about this restaurant, so after speaking to a friend who had dined there, we decided to join them for dinner. The dining area was lovely, with fresh table linens and napkins. Our waiter, Jason, was very pleasant and the rest of the staff was friendly and attentive. We were quickly served drinks from the bar. All of our meals came with a choice of soup or salad. I had the veal with capers, which was tender and flavorful. My husband had the scallop and shrimp Provencal, and our friends ordered a shrimp dish. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there was no long wait for the food. We were also served hot pizza rolls as a starter, which were excellent. For dessert, I had a lemoncello parfait that was delicious. Two of our friends had tartufo, and one had an orange sorbet. The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but the food and service are top-notch. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We dine at this restaurant almost every week. The food is consistently excellent, especially the thin crust pizza we always order. We highly recommend it to all our friends. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the restaurant is very clean. A great place to visit. Italy's best in Lakehurst.

First things first, the food at this restaurant is very good. However, I must say that I have been cheated on multiple occasions. Yesterday was the fourth time this has happened. The prices on the bill do not match what is listed on the menu. Despite bringing this to the attention of the owner and server, I have only received apologies and excuses. This has been happening for years and I urge caution when dining here. Double check your bill against the menu to avoid being overcharged. This is not just a one-time mistake, as both my wife and my orders were incorrect last time. It makes you wonder how many people have been taken advantage of without realizing it.

We went to this restaurant on recommendation. the food was excellent. my man had the garnel and scallop special, and I had penne wodka with a side of meatball. both were delicious. we had the seafood salad as an appetizer. also very good. the scallops that were wrapped in speck were just that. good, but nothing special. suppe or salat is included with the entree. we both ordered the pasta fagioli. they give them a big part and it was very delicious. I'll go back in any case. I watched how server dinners brought to others and all the food looked very good. I recommend this place. Make sure that there is a fee of 3% if they use a credit card, but that would not go from there and a delicious meal.

Good food but charged me 3% fee for using a credit card. This practice is lawful if clearly displayed at the register and stated CREDIT CARD CHARGE on the receipt. This was not displayed at front, register, or dining room. It was not detailed on the receipt only an additional charge with no explanation or Although legal I will not deal with a business so petty IN FACT I USED A DEBIT CARD. IT IS ILLEGAL TO CHARGE A FEE ON A DEBIT CARD. STATE BANKING LAW and MASTERCARD US AGREEMENT WITH ALL VENDORS. Mentioned to waitress who could care less.
