Canoe and Paddle Pub - Lakefield

First time visiting this restaurant. It was almost an hour from the time we ordered our meals until they arrived. We were in no particular hurry, so all good. There was a one man band who was quite entertaining. All five of us enjoyed our meals and nobody left hungry. I would recommend this place and will probable return if in the area.Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant

I am amending this review out of respect for the family of one of the parties involved.Although my partner and I planned our whole day waiting for trivia night and dinner, we were never even served and the staff was beyond rude.The staff here are so slow; it takes an hour just to get a drink and almost twice as long for them to make something as simple as a salad.We had our four month old son with us, and the manager actually threatened me and my baby when I asked why we weren’t getting any service.We left without any apologies (from the staff), and I will never go back here again.We were visiting from Toronto; if you are visiting Lakefield, I highly recommend you go for dinner anywhere else but this terrible place.Disgusting service and terrible staff.

All around a great experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was as expected, and pleasant! Would eat there again in a heartbeat!

Waited more than an hour for service and the place was not busy. Waitress was too busy chatting with kitchen staff and bar staff. She forgot our drink order twice. Food was cold and I had to go up to kitchen window to ask where it was as 2 tables had come in way after us and had been served and had food. Never written such a poor review but this place really earned it.The table beside us was from out of town and family of theirs from out of country they were amazing! Only reason we actually stayed.

My family and I had an awesome experience out on the patio with our three dogs. The staff were even nice enough to serve our dogs some bacon while we waited for our food. Super friendly staff and great quality food at a reasonable price point.
