This is in a safe but shabby shopping center but do not be fooled by the exterior. The interior is very clean and organized and the service is very good. It is helpful to have a guest with you who speaks Spanish; some of the servers do speak English but not well. All the employees are friendly and helpful but language confusion does exist but we just work our way through it together since we are Anglos who do not understand Spanish.This is definitely a restaurant frequented by Hispanics and you will find families, physicians and laborers happily co existing in this pleasant place. We are always made to feel welcome but are decidedly different from the rest of their clientele.This is one of our favorite places because the food is fabulous and the servings are very large. Prices are very reasonable. We are not comfortable or familiar with large portions of the menu but there are plenty of dishes for our non Hispanic palettes. Their potato salad, which they do not always have, is worth the trip. Always ask for bread and their chimichurri sauce; we do not like beans so we opt for sweet plantains. Their french fries are always hot and very fresh and crisp. The skirt steak is terrific and large enough for three adults. Their breakfast menu is inclusive and their omelettes are wonderful. Try it you will become a fan too!
