China Max - Lake Grove

Amazing food, great service and in a good part of the shopping center! I've eaten there twice and both times were amazing. I would recommend eating there for a quick bite.

I’m not a fan of Chinese food because I often find it bland, typically just greasy and salty regardless of the restaurant. However, I was pleasantly surprised by China Max, which stands out from the typical Chinese eateries. The food is flavorful and genuinely enjoyable to eat. I usually order the Fried Rice or Lo Mein along with Bourbon chicken and vegetables. I also ask the server to drizzle some of the chicken sauce over my rice or Lo Mein, which adds an extra layer of flavor. The meal is served warm, and the vegetables are cooked just right—not soggy or hard, but crisp and delicious. I really like this place, and the price is fantastic at just $6.99 for my usual meal. Whenever I visit Smith Haven Mall, I make sure to stop by and eat here.

The service is satisfactory, although they do push additional items a bit. However, the food quality is outstanding. Plus, the portions are generous enough to serve two to three people. It's an excellent value!

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! The variety of options is fantastic. While we typically visit Little Tokyo in the Smith Haven Mall, we've found that China Max offers better flavor and a wider selection, all at a great price! I usually opt for the two-plate meal with noodles.
