El Progreso Mexican - Lake Forest

Today, my mom and I went to this restaurant to enjoy some Mexican food. It was a happy Mother's Day for Mexican mothers, so I brought my mom along. We both thought the food and service were excellent. I had a torta (Mexican sandwich) and I was thrilled to say it was authentic. It had been 5 years since I had a genuine Mexican torta that reminded me of my homeland, Mexico. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I dine outside and visit twice a week.

The restaurant does not display prices and charges a $2 fee for credit card payments without prior notice. The food quality was average. I could have chosen a better place for the prices charged. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Disappointing.

I really recommend this place to all.

Their burritos are awesome. El Progreso is one of the little places we love to frequent. They make corn tortillas on the weekend.
