Green Frog Social House - Lake City

My 1st time here! Food was excellent , the margarita could have been stronger.

The place was nearly empty yet it took nearly ten minutes for the sleepy server to show up. Food was good but nothing outstanding. When we asked the server to refill our drinks she asked us if we wanted to go cups. We didn't know we were leaving... As soon as the server rushed away, she sat down with her one coworker and started gabbing away while looking at her phone. I should not have even tipped her.

Good food. Good service. Comfortable seating. Pleasant atmosphere.Went for dinner after day of packing up a kitchen and everything was wonderful. We had fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. We could have used more tomatoes for the amount of pimento cheese. Because, we really didn't want to waste the pimento cheese. it was served melted in a little skillet and was delicious. The beer and wine list was good and the rest of the menu had plenty of choices. We had a great meal that was prompt, not rushed, and friendly.

AMAZING!!! I would never imagine that this landlocked restaurant could serve the best fish chips I have ever had ... BUT they did it in grand style. We ate and ate but still could not finish all that they served us. One of us ordered the nachos, and it too was a masterpiece. My two year old niece got the mac-n-cheese which also was superb. Also, go for the 'bucket of beer ' which guarantees you 'll always have something to toast with when your team scores a touchdown. GO DAWGS!!!

Caesar salad was lots of iceberg (not romaine) lettuce with powdered parmesan cheese?? Cobb salad had lots of stuff on it tho! Nachos had no cheese but some kind of sauce lettuce?
