I also ordered an iced chai, which was strong, creamy, and exactly what I hoped for in a chai tea. Next, they brought out a plate with a delightful selection: fluffy scrambled eggs, thick slices of ham, wild rice sausage (which I was initially skeptical about but ended up loving), and a cheesy potato hotdish that was very tasty. As you enter, there's a small shop filled with various teas, teapots, and other interesting items. The atmosphere is cozy without feeling overcrowded. I was even able to enjoy a coconut cream brûlée, which wasn’t on the breakfast menu, but the friendly cook allowed me to have it anyway. It was fantastic, served with two pieces of pineapple, coconut grass, and whipped cream. The portion was just right—not too big, which was perfect because a little was all I needed. Although it’s an hour’s drive from my house, I definitely plan to return! It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning!

This is my favorite place to eat! The whole staff is super nice. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. And don't forget to pick up a new teapot or a loaf of cranberry wild rice bread. Chick-a-dee has some fun gifts and teas for sale. Even if you are not hungry, just stop and check out the room, or go by and watch the beautiful gardens. There's something or someone there to make you smile.

Don't miss high tea! It is worth the time... many delicious little surprises along with delicious tea. Really enjoyed all sandwiches, the quiche, the lavender infused lemonade AND the Meyer lemon cake with lavender buttercream. Also had a nice conversation with the new owners... very passionate about their crafts. We will be back before the season ends to experience and enjoy more culinary surprises!

This charming little gift shop and restaurant offers fantastic food, and the staff are incredibly entertaining! The unique gifts available were so appealing that I couldn't resist buying a bird, while Karen picked up a chickpea cup. The tables are located on a three-season veranda, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that feels like visiting friends. I would definitely stop by again!

This restaurant was fantastic and charming. It might have had the best biscuit I’ve ever tasted. The gift shop also has some lovely items and a wide selection of teas.
