The Otherdoor - Lake Bluff

The taco bowls at this restaurant are truly delicious. You can choose your own ingredients, such as protein, cabbage, cheese, pico de gallo, peppers, onions, sour cream, and more, and when combined with one of their ten salsas, the result is mouthwatering. I will definitely be coming back for more.

I ordered nachos with a delicious flavor, but unfortunately they lacked the authentic Mexican taste. The staff was friendly, however they forgot to give me a napkin. I believe it is common courtesy to include napkins with nachos.

I swapped dishes with my husband, so I tried the Duck, Steak, and Barbacoa with salsa #5 (spicy, but not overly hot). The flavors were fantastic, with a wonderful complexity and the ability to customize the taste to your liking.

Think Chipotle, BUT BETTER! This is such a hidden gem in my mind. The food is absolutely delicious and always so fresh. The variety of toppings and extensive list of salsas/sauces to choose from makes your burrito/tacos/salad bowl different every-time(if you want to get creative). I have never had a bad experience, they always have great quality food! I visit whenever I'm nearLake Bluff.

Otherdoor is great! It's chipotle but taken up a few levels! Over average number of protein options, and then 10 levels of hot sauces. Love that they list the flavors for both the proteins and hot sauces so that you can pair the flavors in different ways.If you haven't been, you're missing out.
