Back Porch - Lake Alfred

Nice little place. Great food. Very cheap. I prefer products, but the local roasted, spiced tea for the pepsi. We will do this every year.

The food was good and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food. The decor is rustic and the food is delivered via a small picnic basket. There is inside seating, screened rooms and outside porches for dining. Very pleasant atmosphere. After lunch, we wandered through lots of shopping areas with overpriced gifts which I enjoyed but didn't buy much except this beautiful ring. I would recommend this restaurant for visitors to Florida like me.

Very unique..good sandwiches but a little on th price side. Staff was amazing and so very nice! All southern charm here! Had a lovely time!

Loved this place... Limited to a lunch menu but with good variety.. each meal delivered to your table in it's own unique picnic basket, very cool. Food was Very Good...Cole slaw with a hint of blue cheese, outstanding.. pricing and portions spot on with a wonderful staff... Then there is the option to browse and buy throughout the rest of this little treasure.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is delightful, and it’s surrounded by a garden shop, a gift shop, a homeware shop, and an antique shop. It’s not just a beautiful place to dine; it’s also a great destination for gifts and home products.
