Braseiro Da Vila - LAJES DO PICO

Service was nice and pretty quick. I ordered a Hamburger a Braseiro but i found it bland but filling, it had an egg and ham and tomatoes and lettuce and I think the tomato and lettuce may have washed away any meet flavour. My Daughter and Wife had the Bitoque. Meet was good a little dry and the egg was too dry as well. give it a total meal value of 3 out of 5 for taste.

Like any normal coffee shop, has an OK selection of local coffee types. We found the selection of ice cream being one of the biggest in the coffee shops we have been to in the island. Has some tables out on he side walk. Genuine feeling.

We stopped into this spot right before our Espaco Talassa whale watch and we both had the Franchesina which is a Portuguese croque monsieur. New dish for me and I loved it. Portions were huge. Great spot for lunch or dinner very near the harbor. If you're arriving early or hungry after your whale watch you won't have to go far!

In a sunny day it's a cheap place with an open space where you can see the pico mountain. It's a small space and they sell snacks and drinks for a cheap price.

We stopped in here after our visit to the Whalers' Museum, just around the corner. They have a few small tables set up and you essentially order from the counter where meal pictures and pricing information is available. Once you complete your meal, you go back to the counter to settle up. Very simple and your order is prepared fresh. Not a fancy place, but the food was good as a lunch.
