Pounders - LAIE

Stopped here for a quick bite while driving some guest around the island. Nice air conditioned restaurant, good service. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was onolicious, others had the veggie pizza which was actually pretty tasty, the appetizer fried fish bites was good with the lilikoi dipping sauce, another had the huge Philly steak sandwich it's huge portion enough to share. Lastly another had the garlic shrimp with white rice. For a simple meal for lunch this place is a good choice. No frills, just good food options that will take the hunger away.

Service is great, food is bad. Especially for the price it is not worth. Yesterday we ordered the pizza of the day that was a spicy volcanic pizza $16). It should have bacon on it, but that's what came out. Besides, my husband thought it was good. It was essentially a spicy pepperoni pizza. I have the Grahmburger? $18) which was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I miss the old Pounders menu, it was so much better
