Raviolo Verde - Lahinch

Conveniently located in the centre of Lahinch, the staff were welcoming but a bit unsure of what to do with a solo customer. This is a tiny establishment, but I was seated at a larger table for four, but one of the staff complained to the one who seated me... weird vibe.... from the menu I was captivated by the lasagna for about 16 Euro, I was expecting a huge portion but instead got a tiny bowl (SMALL PORTIONS) of Tesco quality fast food, and huge portion of chips! What a SCAM! This is NOT Italian! Good bye!

We enjoyed a lovely meal on a very busy Saturday evening in Lahinch. The staff were friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze us in on a hectic evening (for them). The food was really good as was the service and all at a reasonable price. The front restaurant was small (we did not see what it is like upstairs). It is clean and comfortable and well worth the visit.

We walked in off street with no booking. Staff made us feel most welcome. Food was good, mainstream Italian, well priced. Service was excellent.

Typical rip off ireland. Check your bill!! The food was family Italian style. Our issue came when we asked for the bill. They said 92.70 and my husband paid and gave a 10pct tip of 10 euro. My husband asked for a receipt. It was an expensive bill for a bottle of wine, 2 pizzas a sprite and a kids pizza and chips. The bill had 15 euro added to it for a prawn dish that we did not have. We asked for the money back. The waiter did not seem surprised and gave the 15 euro cash back (even though we paid by card) but did not give any of the 10 pct tip back. Check your bills carefully. We are definitely not the first that this has happened to.

Terribly disappointed with our food. Pizza was a damp soggy mess but passable. Chicken salad was something a 5 year old would throw together with dry breaded chicken sliced over a small handful of dry leaves lacking imagination, reminiscent of that ‘cheap’ leaf mix from a big supermarket. A couple of cherry tomatoes and that’s it. €15 or €16 euro for something you wouldn’t accept from a filling station for a fiver. Thankfully there was some balsamic on the table. No one asked us how our food was. Neither the table staff nor the person we paid. Hardly surprising given the standard of food. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. This was the furthest from an enjoyable evening meal we could have hoped to get. We will not return. It kills me to post a bad review. Would rather have shared expo with the team but hopefully they will learn from this.
