Stonefire Grill - Laguna Niguel

Love the food, absolutely loathe the restaurant layout and experience of this place. It is basically a fancier Chick-fil-A. You order at the counter, sit down, and several people bring out a part of your order, and no one knows what is left for what you have ordered. You get your own drink, plate, cutlery, barbecue sauce, napkins. You do not have a single assigned server, so if you need something, just go around and take a random person to go to you salad dressing or whatever is missing from your order because there is no counter to ask a specific person. The whole experience is extremely clumsy and unpleasant. However, the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend going as we both did and eating was spectacular both times. Avoid the catastrophe of sit-down experience as a whole.

We heard about this restaurant on the radio and thought we would give it a try during this difficult time of shelter in place. We want to support local restaurants. WOW, surprised by how good the food was. Their stimulus meal is well worth it. The BBQ chicken salad was delicious. Husband enjoyed the trip tip. Pizza was good too. We even have leftovers for tomorrow. We will definitely be back.

The new Stonefire Grill opened on Monday, April 22, 2019. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It’s located in a nice area. During their first month of operation, be sure to ask about their fantastic opening special, which offers a choice of savory meats like tri-tip or Mediterranean chicken, enough to feed four people for just $24.99.

The food is incredible! There’s something for everyone, from salads to ribs and everything in between. The menu includes pizza, pasta, tri-tip, lemon chicken, cauliflower, salmon, and much more, all served to perfection every time we dine there. We really enjoy taking the charming takeout package home!
