フィードバックを提供するAfter 1 hour walk in the city, everything seems to be closed .. I finally found this restaurant. I am glad the rest was closed, I loved it. Food was good, people friendly and trying to understand you (they do not all speak English) and nice pricing. I had the Prato do dia, which was delicious. Nice and bit spicy. You really need to try this little restaurant! If I ever return to Serpa area I will go back. Thanks again
This is actually the 3rd time I've visited this restaurant and it's now a firm favourite for whenever I visit Serpa. The 1st two times, I've always eaten lunch and had the best ever grilled octopus so good in fact, that we made a big diversion to eat there the 2nd time I visited. It's not a sophisticated restaurant at all, but the food is always well cooked and very tasty. This time, I took my mother there for dinner and again, I was not disappointed. We had the lamb chops with salad and fried potato slices. The chops were incredibly tasty and very tender. We also had small jugs of the house wine and the bread and olives before the meal. The owner is delightful and always very welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend eating here. It's not a big place though so don't go if there are a lot of you.
The place is quite anonymous from the exterior but it is defintely worth a visit. O Gato is a nice restaurant that serves typical food from the Alentejano district. Specialties are petisques and seafood, but all food on the menu is tasty. I am travelling to Serpa on regular basis and I am always impressed about the food, the great service and the nice atmosphere at O Gato. I would strongly recommend a stop by this restaurant if you are close by. Bring your travel dictionary because the english skills are relatively limited.
We have been here twice now and love it. Delicious handmade pizzas. We've also had soups and salads which were also very good. The tiramisu is nice and light if you have room for dessert! Even better than the food, though, are the people who work here. They are very friendly and welcoming. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their restaurant. Highly recommend!
Had a walk out to Pizzeria Gattopardo, it serves a good sized pizza with a range of pizza choices. I had seafood pizza, my wife had banana and pineapple (not exactly a classic pizza combination but she really enjoyed it). A little bland and unseasoned for my taste, but again my wife had no grumbles. The restaurant was very busy with locals, which speaks volumes.
