We pootled in not expecting much until the couple next to us ordered a portion of large clams. The aromas of mellow garlic filled the air our mouths watered. It would have been rude not to have followed suit. Yum! Only intending to avoid the inclement weather, we found ourselves chatting to anyone who wandered in, the hours passed and the beers and wine flowed. This is a lovely gem of a bar, I recommend popping in for some petiscos. If seafood isn’t your thing try the black pig ham, melt in the mouth. This is probably the nicest bar we visited, it was entertaining a few bar owners we had met previously. Give it a go.

Unbelievably great food. Basically, you point at the display case (or struggle through some Portuguese, which I tried and did get better at eventually! and just eat and eat. Great lunch, fabulous food. I ordered the Monk fish and Shrimp shower served with vegetables. Hubby ordered Monk Fish and Shrimp Rice stew both very delicious and very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Buena comida, buenos precios y buena atención. Las ensaladas muy buenas, comida parecía fresca, y la atención fue muy buena. Tiene pinta de ser bastante local, lo cual lo hace más atractivo que estar entre turistas.
