Chicken Republic Vgc - Lagos

I was really disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered the chicken pie, but it had barely any chicken in it and was mostly filled with potatoes or something like that. I had high hopes because there's another location near my workplace that serves fantastic food. Unfortunately, this visit didn't meet those expectations. It was my worst experience at any Chicken Republic.

I had a rather frustrating experience with Chicken Republic. Every time I place an order, I can’t shake the anxiety over possible issues. They frequently forget to include cutlery, and there have been several instances where my rice and beans sauce was omitted—it's almost funny at this point! My latest order through Jumia Food was especially disappointing. I wanted to give them another chance, but the menu was poorly organized, and instead of the Jollof rice I ordered, I received fries—how ridiculous! I’ve rated them 2 stars for the times they’ve actually come through and for their reasonable prices. They really need to focus on better training for their staff, as they often seem quite confused.

The food quality was disappointing, and the restaurant’s cleanliness and maintenance could be greatly improved.

I'm not sure if this is typical for the staff at this restaurant, but they seemed more focused on their cash registers and didn't respond to our greetings. We waited over five minutes before anyone acknowledged that we were there. Regarding the food, it wasn't the best I've tasted.

During my recent visit, the sink was out of order, leaving the restaurant without water. They did manage to replace the old grease, which made the French fries look fresher. However, I would suggest heading over to Chicken Express in the parking lot, where the service is friendlier and more attentive to customers. Furthermore, it's quite unexpected when they actually have menu items available, and the ice cream machine has been non-operational during all my visits. This place is situated in a great location, but it seems they don't prioritize improving their service or hiring staff who truly care about their customers.
