Great Tapas as usual and interesting wine suggestions by the waiter. Always a pleasure to eat here.

I wanted a traditional rustic food experience in a quaint setting and this place certainly delivered. The hosts was warm, friendly and happy to engage in conversation. He checked in on us without being overbearing. I was driving, so I could only drink one glass of wine that he helped myself and my partner choose. It was a very good choice. We had an array of tapas including the cheese charcuterie, Portugese prepared beetroot, piri Piri chicken, fishcakes and beef rib stew. They were all excellent, especially the beef rib stew which was so tender. The portion sizes, unlike in Spain, were generous. I highly recommend this place and it deserves all of the success it hopefully gets.

Lovely place to try local wine from Portugal along with food. Wines are recommended for you based on normal choices. The food is lovely and most is gluten free.

Charming and old fashioned venue but by far the best experience we had in Porches. Tapas food was simple but all tasty. The two waiters/ managers made the evening as so passionate about the wine. Highly recommend having glasses of wine which suggested with each course. Similar to being at a wine tasting event and wish we had something similar back in the UK. All the wines excellent particularly some of the reds. Would come back to the algarve just for a night here. Far better than the more tourist orientated venues nearer the beach. The staff and the wines make this place.

Ottima trattoria-wine bar, servizio easy ma elegante. Vini ottimi, tutti portoghesi, se vi lasciate consigliare resteresti soddisfatti. Non va bene per chi cerca i ‘soliti’ posti super commerciali e siete tra questi statene alla larga; non cercate di farvelo andar bene perché rimarrete insoddisfatti. I ristoranti sul lungo mare che vi portano i gamberi fritti intrisi di aglio e olio vi aspettano a braccia aperte!
