フィードバックを提供するWe booked for lunch. We knew there was a change of chef but did not expect such a disaster. The guy does not have a palet. Bad preparation, bad cooking, tasteless. Fish was hardly edible, Food lacks any flavour. Even brownies for dessert were spoilt. We strongly recommend change of career. The owner welcomed our comments but did not make any gesture. In total it was a very disappointing experience.
We had a lovely time between friends at Lorenzo and Pénélope’s restaurant. Excellent food (the fish was perfectly cooked, the little amuse-bouche wonderfully tasty) and the service attentive. It is clear that Lorenzo is passionate about his dishes and everything is made from fresh seasonal produce. The restaurant is set in a lovely wild(ish) area, we saw several wild boars and a doe on our drive down. Thank you for this wonderful evening and very best wishes in this new adventure. We’ll be back soon.
It's not often I experience a restaurant of this class and everything with this place impressed me. To find a restaurant of this caliber in the middle of nowhere is nothing but amazing. We were welcomed with a friendly smile from one of the waiters and guided to our table. The restaurant is nicely decorated with lots of details and matching use of colors. The "Bistrot de Lagarde" is not big by size, but the atmosphere is intimate and relaxing. We received menus and water very quickly on our table. While we were deciding what to choose from the menu, a fancy prestarter where served. When the menu is written in French only and we don't speak the language we had to get attention from the waiters quite often. Every time they smiled and explained so we could easily understand what the different dishes consisted of. There were dishes served between the ordered dishes, and to be honest I don't know how many dishes we had been through when we finished. All of the food where cooked to perfection, aroma and flavors of the food were impeccable and the presentation of each dish were artistic and carefully planned. We could feel there was a kind of philosophy behind it all. The price level is absolutely fair considering what is served on your plate and the work behind it. It felt like a pity though that we came by car as the wine list had some really exciting choices. Anyway we allowed ourselves to enjoy a glass of a delicious and rather crisp Luberon, and next time we'll enjoy more of the wine from the list. The waiters were extremely attentative, even if we almost didn't notice they were there. Thanks to Chef Lloyd Tropeano and his staff for making our visit to "Le Bistrot de Lagarde", a magic one!
A real discovery of regional flavors! a trip to the heart of provence ... an inventive, exceptional kitchen. a magnificent, rehabilitation of a former bunker of the cold war, that the owners were able to exploit in a superb place of restoration. a special note to the soup with pistou, a meme way!! everything was perfect, although the mistral did not allow us to take the aperitif out, in front of the mountains. one word: bravo!!
The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth visiting. everything is excellent from the entrance to the desserts. the service is not too present what is very well so, and the boss very attentive. Only small defect, the slowness at the beginning of the meal, but everything came back in order after the first entrance. The whole thing for a very reasonable price compared to the quality of what is served.Although it is so far because it is worth visiting.
