Nygaard - Laesoe

Just ate at the restaurant. The food was fine, but not more than that. It looked like something that really wanted to be michelin-class, but the taste just wasn't there. A bit bland, and way overpriced.

Visited Læsø last Saturday and noticed Hotel Nygaard as we were driving past the place looked so nice that we decided to turn around and go see if we could get coffee there Had a very enjoyable afternoon coffee experience with coffee and home made blueberry pie served outside in the garden. The coffee was good quality filter coffee served in a thermos no limit on how many cups you wanted, and the pie tasted just great. A perfect summer afternoon coffee experience The fact that the coffee and cake was even cheaper than what we found at a local bakery earlier in the day was just an added bonus would happily have paid a higher price for the service and quality. Cannot recommend it enough If you go to Læsø then stop by Hotel Nygaard.

We wondered if our apartment was intended for people. Would hate to sleep in the room next to the swallow passage with blinds that did not close completely, so ... hooks in the bathroom would decorate. The breakfast was the best of our stay. Pallet and lean

My parents and I stayed at hotel Lærkely and should have originally eaten there, but due to some misunderstandings it was unfortunately not possible. A quick call was made and Mads (the proprietor of Hotel Nygaard) was super sweet and invited us over to a course menu by him as compensation. Here we had a fantastic dinner made from the most delicious ingredients, which we enjoyed for the most beautiful view, in addition to an incredibly good treatment. We can highly recommend the place to anyone who loves good food and world class service.
