Darrell's Diner - Lady Lake

I ordered the corned beef hash with extra crispy hash browns. Although it was my first time there, it felt familiar somehow. The staff was excellent. Most of the customers were elderly and complained about the $12 breakfast being too pricey. It felt like a scene from a movie. Overall, it was a great experience.

We enjoy having breakfast at this restaurant. The food and staff are excellent! I appreciate their teamwork. It's a fantastic place.

Darrell's on Bichara Blvd, The Villages (Lady Lake) FL. This is a local chain restaurant. I have only ever gone to this special restaurant, but they all have similar menus. I think only the peculiarities, especially their soup of the day, can be different. All their restaurants are open from 6 am to 3 pm, seven days a week. All said, we - a party of five - came to the restaurant at 10:45. They were very busy, also to this, late for breakfast, early for lunch, so instead of waiting for an indoor table, we decided to sit outside. Our waiting staff was Desiree, one of their big assets. She greeted us and said that although it was now 11:02, she would appreciate the breakfast specialties that ended at 11:00 because she noticed that it took a while to put us. She took our drinks orders and left us with menus. Three of us went with breakfast and two with lunch. They have standard breakfast -Eggs, breakfast meat, domestic frits, goose or hash brown and toast. The special includes a drink. Also shown is an omelet. The two noon orders were a Sunshine Burger. A hamburger with hash browns on the bottom, a burger, bacon and a sunny side above fried egg, all on a beautiful brioche bungalow. It came with one side, the shown option was potato salad. Also shown is a pack, grilled, with frits. As I said, the service here was always great and so is the food. The waiting staff, pleasant and efficient. Desiree has often checked us, although we were out and literally around the corner of the building. Beautiful touches like she brought extra hot water for my tea without being asked what was wonderful. I always found the restaurant clean, inside and outside. They are accessible to disabled persons. But they only have a unisex bathroom. You are located in the Plaza Grande South Plaza, which makes a simple parking lot, but it cannot be seen from the street. This is a large plaza and they are located near the center. The sign is big enough to see so that helps. Here was a pleasant meal.

There were mistakes made with the order, but the meal that was delivered was very good. I was on the first day to see and Darrell delivered a much better meal.

I had a great breakfast with minimal wait while the place was packed! It doesn't get any better than that! The staff works great together.
