Really good quality seafood. Huge prawns. Really good rice a banda . But beware of the prices, because owner suggests you the best, but without seeing price. We finally paid 210€ for 4 people, with only 2 deserts and no wine.
Re previous reviews, can only agree not cheap, the rest truly is can be something quite different. The arroz abanda here is simply the best in the region bar none. Note that it is not served on Sundays and comes at the end, so leave space and keep some fish back from earlier courses if you like anything chunky in your rice. €12 for enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, what a rip off.... the gambas, and langoustines (cold), are also exceptional, but yes these are expensive. Expect to pay 5 ea for the former and 8 ea for the latter, so only for special occasions or if price is not your main concern for visiting. it is true you get the bill in verbal form, but I have never known in 20 years for it to be inflated, the prices are in the menu except for the mariscos per above. Otherwise from the perfectly seasoned salad through the pescadilla and the frituras, the busy room with a unique basic atmosphere, the queue to get in at the weekends (maybe less so now with the economic situation), I am in no doubt this is a proper destination for those looking for high quality sea food served in an authentic environment. Hence it 's guiri nickname The Shed , albeit not with rusty nor rustic prices. You should not miss out on this piece of real Spain when there is so much dross about now it is untrue.
A warning to foreigners, don´t go there and if you do don´t order the meal of the day, its diabolical and not cheap 18 €uros each, the menu says including wine , you would n´t want to drink it just like vinegar and you only get a glass, a basket of dry bread, and I can´t tell you what the sweet was like because I had left what I ordered, paid and walked out before we got to the sweet. Like eating in a works canteen for first class prices. Definitely not recommended. And I have lived in Spain for 40 years and married to Spaniard.
