Fucked in the block, there is a large terrace where you can step back and enjoy. You use a hot air frit, so enjoy delicious sweet potato fries guilt free! Mosey over the street and check our Silvershoe jewelry and knives. Owned and operated by the artists themselves.
This was an awesome find on our part. The La Veta Inn referred us there and we thank them. The staff and food was wonderful. The Summer Wheat Craft Beer was my favorite along with the Beef and Bells Wrap. I don't know when we will return to CO but I will definately come back to The Bugling Bull when I am in La Veta. Great Atmosphere and food. (Beer too)
We absolutely loved this restaurant! The fish and chips were fantastic. My wife ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap and said it was delicious. Our friend had the Patty Melt and remarked that it was the best she had ever tasted. The ice was also delicious! We enjoyed the atmosphere; it’s such a fun place. We will definitely be returning!
I tried the Jalapeno Popper Burger, and I was a bit skeptical about combining two of my favorite things. But the creamy filling was delightful, topped generously on a perfectly cooked medium patty. There was plenty of extra cheese that melted out, which made for a great dipping sauce for my fries, of which there was a generous portion. I stuck with water, but my companions ordered milkshakes, and I couldn't help but feel envious. They looked delightful and disappeared quickly, so they must have been incredibly tasty. What really sets this place apart is its atmosphere. The interior features authentic, sturdy furniture, and the individual windows have a stylish charm that evokes a nostalgic vibe. It feels more like visiting a friend's house than dining at a restaurant. If the weather is nice, be sure to sit on the terrace and enjoy a game of cornhole while waiting for your food. The friendly, small-town staff added to our experience, making us almost want to linger longer instead of heading out to fish. We ended up having a little cornhole competition before finally departing. In the end, we caught a lot of fish, but it's this restaurant that has stuck with me since our visit a month ago, thanks to its standout qualities. Enjoy your time there!
A hidden gem in La Veta, this restaurant offers delicious food, creamy soft serve desserts, and fantastic beer from Square Peg Brewery!
