Spooner's - La Verne

One thing I did notice was that there were so many other dishes on the menu that caught my eye. The Kalbi was delicious, although I felt the portion size was a bit small for the price. Still, the flavor was excellent. The pork belly was a standout for me; it’s one of my favorites, but I typically only enjoy it at all-you-can-eat KBBQ, so it was a special treat to have it here. It also came with all the necessary sides, so I’ll definitely be ordering that again. The Yukgaejang, or spicy beef soup, was another highlight that I’d absolutely reorder. It was well-seasoned and perfect for a chilly evening. And then there was the Jjajangmyun, or black bean noodles. I was pleasantly surprised to find this dish, which is more commonly found in Korean/Chinese specialty restaurants, available here. Everything was packaged well for delivery, and I received plenty of sides. I would have liked a little more kimchi, but I can always ask for that next time. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

I ordered the Korean fried chicken and shared it. It was a bit salty, but absolutely delicious. The fried rice was fresh and delightful. It's definitely a must-try!

Delicious food at a fair price, great customer service and a casual atmosphere. Ideal for eating in or for grabbing Carry-out. A nice selection of things like ramen, roasted rice, bibimbap, drinks and more. Very consistent quality and service.

Amazing and outstanding first experience!!! Me and my friend both ordered what we wanted and sat down to some great Korean music and 2 and 1/2 men (w/ subtitles) the food was great, my ramen was clean and delicious. The trio of clam shrimp and clam was great quality, the soup was a tad to spicy when I asked for no spice, but I am a white guy with terrible heat tolerance. They had great table service refilling the rice and salad on my companion's dish while letting us try a whole order of the chicken katsue. Anything I didn't like was my fault for not ordering how I like it. I do have one complaint. The cigarette smoke from out back kinda permeates throughout the restaurant but as soon as I got my food the aroma immediately overpowered the smoke. PS they have high chews as you walk out. Good prices. And amazingly clean and delicious food.
