Can not describe how tasty the broken hake is from this takeaway (although there are some tables if they are really hungry and want to stay in place). they could eat near the beach of the minimes if they want. Jolly owner, who's going to be kidding. then delfin showed up when he observed our reaction! the teig is a joy and almost Thai tasting, but he would not pamper his recipe! rather than the chips at home, but an absolute must. we went the two miles from the old harbour on a hot day just to buy the fish here it was worth it!
La Rochelle’s take on an ‘English’ Fish ‘n’ Chips restaurant. Tasty, but the chips were more like fries than proper chips, and the pieces of fish were very small compared to your average English chippie, especially at €9 an order.
Stayed at Camping Verebleu at La Josiliniere and cycled on cycle paths to La Cotiniere as we had been there earlier and seen how busy Le Merluchon was so thought we'd give it a go and what a good decision that was! Lovely fish and...chips (I love refried chips) sat on a bench overlooking the harbour on a beautiful warm evening does life get any better. By the way, they also sell beer!!!!
On holiday we had visited la rochelle for the day to the beach. we found a beautiful beach near, but it has not been to any restaurants we liked, we really tied fish chips so I ggled and found this place so that I obviously. reviewed his reviews. I have to say it didn't disappoint. the fish was nice, both fish chips were hot pissed! it was very convenient for a very good size portion and there were also many choices of sauces etc. to go with him. the people who ran it were friendly and it was exactly what we hoped it would be. highly recommended if they visited here desert was also a few doors away at a crepe place!
