Ocean Grill - La Quebrada

Loved the Ocean Grill experience. Such a beautiful remote location. The vision for this restaurant was amazing Im sure a challenge! Built on a side of a steep cliff The dogs are characters! That hairless critter though lol Hopping on a boat was a bit tough for me being short! Needs a ladder to get in ! Service was good However we all seemed to have gotten food that was cold! Mahi was cool and bland needs spice) . Minimal tiny veggies! I was still hungry , The filet was a really good portion size cooked well but again it was not hot at all and the bacon surrounding it was rubbery undercooked. Meat was tender. Good cocktails . I would have liked to sit and have another cocktail but the boat comes to pick you up . I met Ernesto and his wife and she did ask me about my experience I conveyed the fact that all our food was sadly cold. Hopefully it will be addressed

No ribs available. Four shrimp for $31.00 USD. Food was served cold. Vegetables were old (string and tasteless). Service was slow with only one waiter. Beautiful venue but extremely poor food quality and quantity. I do not recommend this restaurant...it is way overated.

Ocean Grill was absolutely amazing and was really the funnel of our trip. We vacation to Puerto Vallarta often and always try to do new things, we decided to go this restaurant one as a girl day with my mother, her friend and my 3 best friends who were with us for my 30. Birthday. We took an over from PV, which was about 45 min car. Once there, 4 of us chose to hike and the other 2 girls took the boat. We are all very active so that the hike was not as challenging as most say, but I could see how it can be for some. It was a nice hike, although with no signage where you go, you need to remember how some of the trails look like a trail, but not. The boat trip was told us, was easy and fast. We came for our pre-booked 11 o'clock time slot and we were the only one who is there for a good part of this time. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We've all ordered something else and we haven't been disappointed. I see that many people are upset about items that are not on the menu (they were from King Crab on the day we visited), but the location to this restaurant is quite... There are other things on the menu that are just as amazing and there was a curve to try something new that we did happy. It was nice to be just there and be in good company. Worth visiting.

Ocean Grill is an amazing restaurant. The views are spectacular. I loved my meal and definitely thought it was worth the price, although the beef prices were particularly high and we avoided it. The drinks were also excellent. This is an excellent place to have a special meal. The only problem we had was that it could be difficult to return to Puerto Vallarta. Consider the organization of a trip to Los Muertos Pier with other Diners.
