Essen Durning had a reasonable crowd, but the service was quick. The portions were on the smaller side for the price, but overall, the food was excellent. The beef rib had a nice smoky flavor and was very tender. The sampler trio included a California-style dish, pulled pork, and sausages, all of which were delicious.

Wow! This place gets BBQ and beer just right. The meats are smoked and cooked to perfection using USDA cuts. I was highly impressed and will definitely return. Don’t let the wait or the struggle to find a table discourage you—just grab one of the many craft or local beers on tap and relax.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was recommended by a coworker. The food was delicious, and the prices were even more appealing. They have a happy hour from 5 PM until closing, which is great. I'm also impressed by their wide selection of beers on tap. I will definitely be returning!

Good choice for the area. Beef ribs were beautiful and fat, but a bit salty. Place is good and staff is nice.

Mmm the corn bread dipped in the chili beans is the bomb..the Cali Creamin on draft is superb and the happy hour burger is awsome
