The Crawfish Hut - La Porte

Flies every where, ordered fried okra, got French fries, out of every thing. Very hot in the place. No butter for the crayfish. Said they were moving to Deerpark. Not for sure if we will try it when they move.

We really enjoyed ourselves there on Wed 6/8! ? Your Customer Appreciation night was awesome, the crawfish were excellent and the spices were amazing! ? Our favorite was the Asian Garlic. It was easy to understand why y'all were soooooo busy, it was well worth the wait and our server was spectacular! ? It was a quick 1-minute walk to the corner 7-11 to get our BYOB. ? Thank you so much for creating a great place and serving terrific crawfish. We had a blast! ?

Waitresses/servers had a bad attitude and the place was filled with flies. Very unsanitary all around would NOT recommend.

WARNING!!!! THIS IS THE NASTIEST TASTING/SMELLING CRAWFISH EVER! As soon as we got it it smelled like doggie dukie. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt though so I tried it and got one that tasted just like sh . Couldn't even finish them it was DISGUSTING! I legit wanted to throw up and I wasn't the only one. Does this deal look too good to be true? It is. I washed my hands 5 times to get rid of the smell and applied germex. So many of them looked disgusting and mushing and old and rotten. Please don't get them.

First time to the Crawfish Hut; was not impressed. Regarding the crawfish: to be fair I ordered the mild since spicy is subjective. The mild had little to no flavor but all I had to do was add a little seasoning, some butter and lemon and they were definitely contenders. (Don 't think I will be back however if I do, I will for sure order the spicy)Regarding the service: terrible. A waiter took our order and was polite. A waitress delivered our food but that was all. After a few minutes the same waitress was at a table nearby so I asked if we could get some butter (as nothing was offered when the crawfish was delivered). She did bring us some butter but made a remark that our waiter would be there to check on us (as in we were not her table). A few minutes go by and I realize we need some seasoning so as I look for our waiter, I notice he is outside talking on a cell phone. So I wait. Next thing I know he is sitting down at a table enjoying his lunch. He has not come to our table since taking our order, unacceptable. This whole time there were only 2 other tables with customers; when the one near us leaves and the waitress is bussing their table I give her a list of the items we need so we can continue eating. She does get them and then assists a couple other times with drink refills. The waiter doesn 't come back until we are nearly done and then lastly when we need the check.I will say the waitress that was working, was actually busy working non-stop during our time in the restaurant. Other than taking our order and closing us out, the only time I saw the waiter was when he was on a cell phone and then eating his lunch. I also never noticed any management present unless it was one of the two people working the floor.I would consider going back for the food but the the service, not really interested.
