Shipley Do-nuts - La Porte

This was a hot mess. I asked for a plain cake donut not knowing that there are plain donuts and cake. The lady confused me when she was like so you want plain donuts. I was like is it a cake. Like I am guessing she was new because she brought another lady to the window who made the situation worst and then charged me twice because she still didn't get it. It's frustrating when you say something and someone reads what you say back to you but does the opposite.????...

Im not sure what happened to this place but it's definitely not the same. The food always seems like it was cooked the day before, they cram donuts in a bag where all the frosting is stuck to paper, and depending on who is working depends on if you get met with good attitudes or a bad one.

Usually a nice place to go and get doughnuts. Service is sometimes lackluster. Today 2 signs that say OPEN. Go through the drive thru and the woman says I'm sorry I'm not serving any more people today. Just bad.

I don’t know how hard it is to get the right order when you only serve donuts and kolaches. And it’s all the time. And the lobby seems to never be open. Terrible customer service.

Worst shipleys I’ve ever been too. Very disappointed. Had no sprinkle donuts for the kids, my sausage and cheese kolache had almost no cheese in it. Worst service, they are very rude we were trying to enjoy our morning by sitting in the lobby.. got one bite in our donut and she kicked us out told us we couldn’t sit inside. They didn’t close for another two hours. Don’t understand why we couldn’t finish our breakfast.
