Midori 5 - La Mirada

I wasn't very happy with my California and crunch rolls today. I used to eat here all the time, but it's been a while, so I decided to grab some for lunch. Unfortunately, the crab meat in the California and crunch rolls was powdery and a bit dry, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the teriyaki beef was good, and the gyozas were tasty as well.

The food here is excellent! The sushi is delicious, the miso soup is rich in flavor, and the udon is a must-try. The tempura is always delightful. The chef is friendly and personable, and everything is made fresh to order. While dining in is enjoyable, we usually opt for takeout.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I have to say it was quite delicious. The man at the front was very polite and professional. I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate, which was fantastic. As for the sushi I tried, it could have been better. It wasn't bad, but it also didn't stand out. I will definitely return for the chicken teriyaki plate!

Got this off of doordash. I got the teriyaki chicken bento. The chicken had basically no sauce and was just dry and sad. The California rolls were soooo bad. I did not know you could mess up California rolls but they managed to make them tastepowdery(?? with zero flavor (which suggests old ingredients to me . The tempura was not greasy so one point. First and lasttime I'm ordering from here

Very affordable place with reasonable wait times. Mostly takeout but I decided to dine in since I had some time. I enjoyed their salmon bento, which included miso soup, salad, tempura, and cali roll for $16. All in all decent experience.
