Nonno's Italiano - La Mesa

I can always expect great food at Nonnos. Recently, I had another experience that reflects their honesty integrity. I left my wallet at the cash register after picking up my order. Two days later, I realized what I had done. Even though the restaurant was closed for 2 weeks, they returned my call and met me there, so they could return my wallet! It had been locked in their safe. I owe them a debt of gratitude and better yet, my patronage for years to come.

The restaurant's small dining room allows for excellent service. The food is superb too.

Lovely comforting Italian food. Portions can be splittable or are generous for one. The service is welcoming, warm, and makes you feel appreciated and at home.
