Chipotle Mexican Grill - La Mesa

My family and I always get chicken and sofrita burritos at this restaurant! We always pair it with a side of large chips and guacamole, of course!

This was probably one of the worst Chipotle experiences I've ever had. They only gave me four pieces of lettuce, and my burrito was dripping wet with sour cream and oil. It was more like soup than a burrito. After taking one bite, I had to throw it away. I will definitely not be ordering from here again.

The bowl was only half full, with a small amount of meat and a tortilla that was thick and fell apart on one side. This is not something I have experienced before at Chipotle.

Very disappointed with pick up time. When order should have been ready I was told 5 min. Needed to cook more meat. They seemed to have enough staff, but very disorganized. At one point there were 10 people waiting for orders. 1/2 hr later my order was finally ready. Food was wonderful as usual.

I stopped by the La Mesa location for the 1st,time I noticed right away how clean the outside was as I am driving up. The lobby area was clean, food looked fresh and plenty was available. The staff very friendly. The downfall to my experience was the cook had a mask on but was down to his chin I was thinking what’s the point in wearing it if you don’t have it on all the way. Then I thought well maybe he needed a breather it can be hot back there in the kitchen but nope his mask remained down the entire time I was there ordering. Oh don’t order the guacamole not worth the over priced $3. I think this location isn’t too bad I’ll definitely come back once in a while but I am giving 4 star for excellent customer service
