The Rooftop La Jolla

Our main concern was the service. Although our server was friendly, they presented side dishes without making it clear that there would be an additional charge, which led us to believe they were included like in a diner. To their credit, the restaurant did waive the charges when we inquired about the bill, but it made for an awkward moment. On a brighter note, the coffee was excellent. Overall, our experience at Cody's La Jolla was mixed. Despite the great coffee and accommodating staff, the lack of a view, outdated decor, mediocre food, and confusion over side dish pricing left us feeling somewhat disappointed.

Charming brunch destination! We really loved our meals, and they offered some excellent vegetarian choices as well.

It was a busy Sunday with brunch in full swing. Food was served quickly and was great.

Cody’s is a wonderful spot, offering delicious brunch options and great proximity to the shore. However, with its high prices, you’d expect better service. Not worth the absurdly long wait to get a seat. Otherwise, the food is good and the atmosphere is nice.

This popular restaurant often has long wait times during peak hours. We waited about 30 minutes for outdoor seating during lunch. The food was good, but the place was quite busy. The kids' menu offers some great non-seafood options as well.
