Big Al's Pizzeria - La Crosse

I ordered the wings, and they were delicious. They were perfectly cooked, and while the spicy sauce had a nice flavor, it could have been a bit spicier. The thin-crust pizza was also tasty. The staff was fantastic, and the service was quick!

With a variety of crust options (sourdough is my personal favorite) and an excellent selection of toppings, you're bound to enjoy one or two pizzas here. I’ve been dining at Big Al’s for the past 30 years, and the friendly and fun service has never wavered. Although the ownership changed a few years ago, the welcoming atmosphere and quality of the food have remained consistent. If you happen to be in the downtown area, I recommend stopping by for a drink and a meal. They offer a solid menu, but don't forget — pizza is the star at Big Al's!

Great Pizza, Huge Wings. Big Al's offers some pretty good pizza with flavorful sauce, fresh toppings, and a nice thin crust. We also sampled the buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks. The wings were among the largest I've encountered. Although we received the wrong order (the sauce on the wings was incorrect), they promptly prepared a new batch for us at no extra charge. The mozzarella sticks were pretty average, though. The service was a bit slow, which seems to be a common theme in my other reviews of LaCrosse. I look forward to trying the burgers and sandwiches on my next visit.

A Staple. Big Al 's is another one of my favorite places to go when I 'm in town. Their pizza is fantastic and I love the garlic cheese bread. My husband enjoys their selection of beers and their burgers. It has some of the best 'bar ' food in the city.

Great thin crust pizza. Big Al's is THE place to get a great pizza in La Crosse. Their thin crust pizza tastes as good as it looks, I have never left hungry!
