Their Margherita and Hawaiian pizzas were always great, along with their Caprese salad and spinach salad. It quickly became one of our go to pizza joints. Staff was always nice even when we would often place a phone order 20 minutes before closing, and also very patient to answer questions regarding food allergies. So long Georgee's... we're not too wild about large pizza chains, but we'll see how Fresh Brothers pan out...
Food is decent enough that I 've been going there for the past 4 years, weekly. After today 's experience I will not go back and neither will my coworkers. I had ordered 4 sandwiches for me and my coworkers. The cashier lady, always pleasant, told me to go sit down and wait because the food wasn 't ready. So I go sit in the area they told me to sit and sit. I mind my own business while waiting for the food. About 10 minutes later this man comes out of the kitchen and shouts from a distance: Are you waiting for order or dining in? I replied I 'm waiting for an order His distant shout then grows into a yell directly to me THEN WHY ARE YOU SITTING THERE. SIT ON THIS OTHER SEAT! THATS ONLY FOR DINING! Then turns to his employees YOU GOTTA DO A BETTER JOB OF TELLING THEM WHERE TO SEAT! Then disappears back into the kitchen. The man it turns out was George himself, presumably the owner. This was my first time meeting him after coming for 4 yrs. Let 's break this down... I 'm a loyal customer sitting where their employees told me to sit. There 's no signage that says the seat is for dining only. He clearly knows that his employees are poorly trained and likely told me to sit at the wrong spot. The seat is also in plain view from the cash registers and the employees clearly saw where I was sitting for those 10 mins. And didn 't say anything. He comes out of the blue and yells at his loyal customer who wants to support his business instead of retraining his employees. The cashier did apologize on George 's behalf but it was one of those blanket apologies not addressing the actual situation. I thought about finding George in the kitchen and confronting but he was so aggressive in the way he treated me that that effort would have been a waste of my energy. So there you have it. Make your own decision on whether you want to support such business. I will not. And I threw my sandwich away. Couldn 't stomach eating it.
I know Georgees is closed for 10 days for vacation. But there is concern that they are closing. Anyone have any updates? This is my husband's favorite pizza place. Say it ain't so!!! Love this place!
Decent place for either a quick bite or dine in experience. Friendly staff and clean dining area. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn 't that busy. Funny thing is that they forgot to make my sandwich, however they apologized and I got my order right away. We ordered their daily special which includes a side and a medium submarine sandwich. Medium sized sandwiches are still a good size compared to the large.
Found this place thru Yelp while was looking for a decent pizza place which also serves alcohol. I am not one who nags about customer service because to me food has higher priority but honestly I could not ignore the level of coldness and somehow racist look I got during my experience there. I did not feel welcomed especially when placing my order with the cashier and that made my visit not so pleasant. As far as food goes we got pizzas, wings and beer. The pizzas are huge, we ordered small but it was the same size as Domino's medium pizza. The veggie to cheese ratio in veggie pizza was off and it needed more cheese. The wings were breaded which made them heavier but they tasted really delicious especially the buffalo sauce was spicy and good. I used the restroom and it was not clean and it was obvious they do not pay much attention to their restrooms. Overall we liked the food and we might come back for take out but I do not think we'd dine in.
