Daikichi Horikawa Takatsuji - Kyoto

Fantastic shoots and company! The cook is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything is ready to order quickly and relatively cheap, but especially delicious. Understands gluten-free and speak English really well. Would definitely return. Try the chicken skin and the hearts, very delicious.

Food was awesome! We ordered 16 sticks of yakitori plus 2 alcoholic drinks for two persons. Spent ¥2.8k incl tax here. Food is cheap and good. Chef speaks English and is extremely friendly and fun to chat to! Will come back again when we visit Kyoto in the future!

Amazing place! I found this jewel online on an article about must eat places in Kyoto. The beef neck skewer is definitely something I 'll have to dream for a long time time before eating something similar again. Cozy and small, very traditional Japanese. I ate 6 skewers, one set of sweet potato and 2 beers and spent 2,500. I had a great time here! (English speaking staff and menu are a major plus!

Amazing place! Food is very clean and fresh. Taste is sooo good. Best izakaya restaurant I have been to in my 10 day trip! Staff is also very friendly. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended
