I went to Abingdon filled with expectation — maybe at last we will find the Midlands restaurant that we have been seeking for our family functions and to refer our cottage guests to. This is one of South Africa's wine gems. They survived Coved. Maybe not have all their wines ready yet but time will tell their story. They have an excellent beer as well!

Had the most amazing lunch at Abingdon, everything was perfect, the wine is great and the food was scrumptious!
