Hangar Cafe Altona - Kurunjang

I am glad my weekend tradition of getting a takeaway coffee from here wasn't stopped as the cafe is open for takeaway during the lockdown period still.

Tried to order a family chicken Parma meal to collect, lady on the phone spoke poor English and kept asking “ you want schnitzel “? Poor service, visited restaurant on average 1 per month with friends due to great meals but this lack of service has cost them my custom!

Actually, they do not understand what is a VIRUS, and they do not respect the minimum distance of 1.5mts.

Good atmosphere, great coffee and service. Good ecperience.

I wasn’t expecting much for some reason, Altona Gate isn’t exactly a location that stars for food. It was better than I expected especially the coffee! Best soy latte I’ve had in the area, they use excellent milk. The meal was pretty good I got smashed avo and poached eggs on toast. They are NOT stingy with that avo, there was almost too much! The gluten free toast was good. It doesn’t have the most inspiring of menus so I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way here, but I’d definitely stop past here for a meal or a coffee if at the Centre and hungry.
