Resto Hafen - Kuressaare

We ordered fish-platter for two as a starter and it was good. As main courses we had Poke bowl and Fish of the day. Poke bowl was with mushrooms and it was generous and tasty. Fish of the day was Smoked Perch, which sadly was one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Perch was small and served as whole fish, so you had to work a lot to separate the little meat that was in there from the bones. Side dishes were quite bland, so it didn't help. Even though it was 15€ dish, it was huge disappointment. Would the staff pay 15€ for it? Service was friendly and place was nice next to a pier, so otherwise this restaurant can be recommended.

The food was extremely good! All the dishes we ordered were very tasty. Also, the service was very nice.

We have been there before (in august 2021) and we had a wonderful experience. This time (july 2023) we were also extremely pleased with the food. Truly amazing appetizers and mains both vegetarian and fish options were great! I would definitely recommend the food there. A bit pricy, but that can be expected in the marina, so no worries there. Only one small inconvenience slow service. Coke and juice came after 20 minutes and it was the second time the waitress came to the table and saw it was not cleaned after previous customer's drinks had left large water circles. Only after asked, did the waitress clean the table. The place was hardly full. Another waitress also came by the table, when coming from another table and cleaned ours, cause we were finished. She was definitely very attentive. Negative part possibly due to post covid staff changes? Nothing to do there, but give time. Overall, we would definitely come back for the food!

We have visited this restaurant twice over the past few years and have always had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy with a view of the sea, and the food is delicious. The dishes are well-balanced and the flavors of the ingredients complement each other perfectly. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service, food, and drinks were all excellent. I will definitely be returning to Hafen and would highly recommend it to others.
