Japanese Aoyagi - Kumamoto

I came when they first opened for the evening and fortunately I could sit down. I ordered the cattle sukiyaki and small tempura. They were both very good. I didn't eat much of it because I was too busy talking to the beautiful staff! The Sushi church was so friendly and helped me at my meal and he even showed me a picture of his cat! The manager greeted me and we talked about my travels and the city. I was alone and they kept me gracious. They were all so friendly and I felt very welcome food in the restaurant (I was only allowed to stay an hour because of a seat restriction of any kind, but I had nothing to do with it because they told me that before I sat). Really nice food with friendly staff. I would come back and I would recommend this to everyone in Kumamoto. It would be best to get reservations.

We serve kamameshi, sushi, tempura, sashimi, and other Japanese cuisine using fresh seasonal ingredients. Kumamoto dishes with many varieties of small dishes. Delicious Kumamoto wagyu Shabu shabu tastes very good. The rice is cooked with small shrimps.
