フィードバックを提供するIt is by far the most wonderful place to chill and have delicious food. They have very broad menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, mostly vegetarian (all easily adjusted for vegans . Lots of filling salads, Burmese food, veggie burgers, pasta, wraps, panini..and others. Good variety of teas and smoothies. They bake their own delicious bread and make cakes, often offer special menu for dinner serving big sampling platters from other cuisines. If you want to take a break from the beach, you can just chill in the hammock or lie down, read books from the library, play with the dogs, give cuddles to the cat, listen to good music, shop for quirky clothes and jewelry, or have a lovely chat with the owner Jessica. The place is beautifully decorated with lots of colorful cushions, hangings, lights and art made by the owner. The atmosphere is really warm and friendly and food is served with love. Oh..and the cocktails are good too! Gin fizz is my personal favorite :
Perfectly cubed eating, all the aromas of Thai, Burmese European cuisine and above all: so many homemade biss (brot, yogurt, sweets). many vegan options, and everything seems so healthy with love
I wanted to see a waiter who had clearly drugged. was not sure if he could take our order right. expected to have a burger with a soft bungalow, but there were two discs cuddly sourded bread. the burger inside had good aromas and it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I asked for vegan mayo, but only tomato sauce. the pestoburger of my partner did not taste like pesto at all. he also asked for mayo, but got no. the burger was very hard to eat because he fell apart when trying to eat it with the hands, but the broth was too hard to eat with knives and forks. they were nice. well should have ordered Thai or Burmese food. the menu was artistic and very difficult to read. obviously they had not expected so many customers to have because they clearly struggle. it took a long time to get a leak. almost wanted to go without paying.
Great food with a wide variety The owner Jessica who runs the place has a good knowledge of veganism and will pretty much adapt any meal to make it vegan There’s a variety of Burmese and European food from curries to burgers I recommend the vegan potato salad it’s definitely my favourite Portion sizes are substantial as well which is another positive
In the cluster of restaurants on the road heading west from Ao Yai (the long beach , there are several with signs saying vegetarian, but most of them serve lots of meat (the signs are simply advertising that they *also* serve veg options . There are two exceptions: Baan Namchaa and Cha Chai Home (reviewed separately , both of which (as of Jan 2013 are almost entirely ovo lacto veg except for one animal item. In the case of Baan Namchaa, that item is a tuna mayonnaise sandwich. Baan Namchaa is run by three friendly European women (two Brits, on German and their talented cooks from Myanmar. Their menu reflects this international composition, with a selection of Western and Burmese dishes to please a variety of tastes. The menu does not explicitly indicate which items are vegan, but in most cases it 's pretty easy to tell (one non obvious tip: avoid the yellow noodles , and the hosts are happy to help. They 're also amenable to special requests with some advance notice. Our favorites: La Pa Toh, a savory and slightly crunchy Burmese salad Laarb Nuggets (appetizer/snack , another nicely seasoned Burmese creation Bruschetta on brown bread (homemade All food is made fresh to order, which can take some time when there are many patrons, so it 's advisable to come either before or after the lunch rush, or arrive about 30 minutes before you start feeling hungry enough to eat your hat. They 're closed for dinner (unless you have dinner before 6 , except for the occasional special evening. Musicians are sometimes invited to play for food. Enjoy!
