Som‘s Seafood - Koh Phangan

Very cheap and really good eating. but small portions. we had to order seconds. really friendly owner, sweet dame, who almost got crazy when my bf ordered meat for the second time because she thought he was vegan to hehe. not very chic restaurant, tables and chairs look a little old and dirty.

Found the place on happy kuh, sat down. boss lady came after five minutes, we told her we were vegan, she said "no problem" with a big smile. the place looks like he falls apart, but that just adds to the charm. she apparently hadn't too fu, but she hopped on her motorcycle and came back with two portions in a few minutes. eating was great, she had wifi and spoke good English. the prices were too cheap and the portions quite large. a part of the veggies is cultivated in her garden and she gets others from grace.

It seems you have dinner in your grandmother's house. simple tai food, many vegan options, cheap and tasty. but not at all)

I totally recommend this place, if you want to have real Thai food. We let her decide for us what we should have for dinner. Ended up eating the tuna steak and the deep fried barracuda — both were incredibly delicious and made with fresh fish. The place is really nice and simple, you’ll feel that you are the owner’s home, sharing the same living room.
