Habibi - Köln

A visit on the zülpicher street always ends with a visit at habibi! here it is always delicious, cheap and the service top.

Visited after reading about this place in 'the Rough Guide To Germany'. They rated it as arguably the best falafel in Germany. Fact is it is just average. What qualifies me to say this, 3 years living in the Middle East, and travels in Germany. The decor is interesting and the area has a very student feel but don't feel you have to make a special trip to this place.

I went for a quick bite and I had the falafel plate, what strikes me first was the price, is one of the cheapest in all cologne and definitely cheaper than every place in France. The food was absolutely delicious, the falafel where fried in front of my eyes and the portions where great too I couldn't even finish my plate. Definitely a must go in köln if you're on a budget. You can get a shawarma wrap for only 2,50!!! And on top of that, the staff where super friendly even if my Deutsch is very bad

The load is definitiw cult. there are also often free zimttee. who is in Arabic cuisine should have been here.

We hebben een wrap gegeten bij habibi, je niet heel veel keuze. voor een tussendoortje is dit prima. het personeel is snel in de bediening en he hangs een leuke sfeer, sof je in het buitenland bent.
