Mcdonald's - Kodiak

We got there and there was a padlock on the door, hours before they closed. We tried doing through the drive through(on foot) and they wouldn't let us through. They told us to go back to the doors, so we did and they were unlocked. We went inside and ordered milkshakes. While we waited on mine, the staff put a bike lock on the door. While we were inside. We were all pretty confused at this point and some other people were trying to get in. We let them in and the ladies started telling us not to. My friend also went to the bathroom and was followed and waited on??? It was weird. We escaped there pretty quick. Another one of my friends had a similar experience a few minutes before mine. Several troubling things were brought to my attention. Firstly, prior to closing the employees locked the doors with padlocks and bike locks with children still inside. Additionally, a female student athlete under the age 18 was followed into the bathroom by an employee and watched until her time in the bathroom was done. This is incredibly disturbing for several reasons, and we plan to look into this further through the proper channel. Staff who feel the need to watch children in the bathroom probably should not have a job.

I couldn't find any electrical outlets near the tables, and the staff wouldn't provide the bathroom key code even after I placed my order.

The food is decent, mainly because it's one of the few quick options available in Kodiak. However, the customer service is quite poor. There were no smiles to be found. I placed an order, and then someone came along, opened my bag, went through it, and realized they had given me the wrong meal. They just put it back without any explanation. I asked for a replacement meal, but all I received was new fries, and the staff member seemed reluctant to help. The overall atmosphere of the place felt off.

Walked here after work to get some food and their lobby was closed at 3 pm. I called their number and the person that answered stated that they were short all a while about 2 workers were chilling in the lobby! Very unprofessional in my opinion!
