Katsuya - Kochi

I visited for the first time. It was during dinner time, but our two set meals were served in about three minutes. It seemed like there were many regular customers dining alone, which contributed to the impressive turnover rate. Since I was coming from a distance, I couldn't take any food to go, but the cost-performance was great, and I wish there was a location closer to me.

This is a restaurant I go to occasionally. I sometimes order the katsudon, but I also order the katsu curry about the same amount of the time. They've made a slight change recently, as they've added shredded cabbage to the curry plate, which wasn’t there before. I didn’t realize this and ended up ordering a salad as a separate item… The curry at Katsuya is a bit on the spicy side. There are times when I just really crave curry, and during those times, I often head to Katsuya. While it may not be as good as a specialty curry shop, it’s definitely tasty enough. Each time I check out, they always give me a discount coupon.

To start, I took a bite without adding any sauce. The freshly fried cutlet was crispy, but it was surprisingly lacking in juiciness. Even after adding the sauce, the base flavor of the meat didn't stand out. It reminded me that even in the katsu don I had for takeout, while the flavor of the egg and broth was memorable, the cutlet itself lacked impact. I think the price for the cutlet is reasonable, but it didn't quite suit my family's tastes. I couldn't help but feel that the prepared foods from the local supermarket outshine this dish, which may be a result of my preference for familiar flavors. It's a bit disappointing.

本日21:30頃に訪れました！いつも美味しくいただいていますが、今回は残念なことがありました。いつもいる厨房の男性ではなく、新人の女の子がいたので、大丈夫かなと思っていたところ、ヒレカツ定食を頼んだのですが、お皿の下に浮くくらい油がべったりで、残念ながら食べきれずに残してしまいました。もう少しスキルを上げてほしいです。最後にお会計を終えた後、いつもなら次回からのサービス券をくれるのに、今回はもらえなかったので、もう何も言いませんでした。最悪の体験でした。年配の女性が対応していましたが、愛想もありませんでした。

アクリル板で仕切られていますが、狭すぎて食べにくいです。豚汁が普段と違う匂いや味の日があり、ちょっとダメそうな匂いがしました…。お客様センターのようなところに問い合わせのメールを三回ほど送りましたが、完全に無視されて一切連絡がありませんでした。
